Ahmed Al-Ghafri is the founder and chief executive officer of GEO Resources LLC (GRC), a leading visionary in the field of O&G, Geoscience and Hydrogeology and Marine Science.
With over 36 years of experience at GRC all our leaders are innovative pioneers, driving the evolution revolution forward. Together, and as individuals, our passion drives every idea, concept and solution we create.
In everything GRC does it ensures that the clients are front-and-center in all its strategic decisions, and the execution of our clients needs are our top priority.
Mr. Al Ghafri began his career at GRC in 1998 as a Managing Director. He held various leadership roles in managing resources and focused much of his career on driving and developing GRC globally.

Before establishing GRC, Mr. Al Ghafri held the position of the General Director at the Ministry of Water Resources. Prior to that, he worked as Director Department of Water Resources helping and supporting communities managing their water resources for agricultural use.
At the Ministry of Environment he was the Head of the Conservation and Pollution Control Department at the Ministry of Environment. He was exposed to all the E&P issues related to solid waste management, soil remediation, oil spill clean-up, waste water treatment and reuse, and hazardous waste disposal.
Mr. Al Ghafri is one of the few Omani Underground Mining and Exploration Geologist. At the beginning of his career in 1984 he worked as a mining and exploration geologist at Oman Mining Company. He has continued sharing his knowledge and experience gained over the years working In Resources Management.
Mr. Al Ghafri holds MS in Hydrogeology from USC, USA and BSc in GeoScience and Marine Science from UQ, Qatar.
